Guest Spotlight: Amy Salisbury

Community Creator | Cold Water Warrior | Sauna Culture Pioneer | Mental Health Advocate | Purpose-Led Changemaker

Amy Salisbury is a passionate community builder and wellness innovator who founded the life-changing Mordi Sea Dippers group and the immersive SeaSoul Sauna experience. Named Kingston Woman of the Year, she’s transforming lives by creating safe, empowering spaces that bring people together through connection, resilience, and the healing power of nature.

Amy Salisbury is a powerhouse of connection, community, and conscious wellbeing. As the founder of both the Mordi Sea Dippers—a thriving cold water community group—and SeaSoul Sauna—a coastal sauna experience focused on authentic, immersive healing—Amy is at the forefront of a grassroots wellness movement that is transforming lives through nature, ritual, and togetherness.

Driven by personal experience with Premenstrual Dysphoric Disorder (PMDD), Amy has devoted her life to creating judgment-free spaces that support emotional and mental wellbeing. From her early days doing solo cold dips to now hosting over 150 people in a thriving ocean-based collective, Amy’s mission is rooted in inclusivity, resilience, and shared joy. Her work with SeaSoul Sauna goes beyond relaxation—she offers a sensory, deeply therapeutic experience inspired by traditional Nordic sauna culture, designed to help people unplug, connect, and heal.

Amy is also a founding contributor to the Australian Sauna Association and a strong voice in promoting community as a form of therapy. Whether it’s witnessing strangers become friends during a sauna session or leading sunrise dance parties with her dippers group, Amy’s work is a heartfelt reminder that when we come together with openness and purpose, we change not only our own lives but the world around us.
