Guest Spotlight: Ellen Newhouse
Intuitive Healer | Acupuncturist | Author | Sound Healer | Transformational Guide | Spiritual Practitioner
Ellen Newhouse is an intuitive healer, acupuncturist, author, and transformational guide with over 35 years of experience supporting people through trauma, burnout, and emotional healing. Her work bridges Eastern medicine, somatic awareness, sound healing, and spiritual inquiry, grounded in lived experience rather than theory.
Ellen Newhouse is an intuitive healer, acupuncturist, author, and transformational guide whose work is deeply shaped by her personal healing journey. With a Master’s degree in Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine and a background in economics and international relations, Ellen brings both grounded insight and intuitive depth to her work.
After growing up in a violent and unstable household, Ellen spent decades navigating therapy, body-based healing, spiritual exploration, and creative expression. Her memoir, Nothing Ever Goes on Here, chronicles her journey through childhood silence, survival, and the long road back to voice and embodiment. The book has since been adapted into a one-woman stage performance, performed by Ellen herself.
In her clinical and healing practice, Ellen works with the nervous system, the body, and energetic patterns to support deep, sustainable healing. She is also a musician and sound healer, using voice and vibration as tools for regulation and release. Her work is known for its honesty, depth, and refusal to bypass the hard, human parts of healing.
